Selling solutions to technical buyers
ValveWatch, a division of Crane Nuclear, builds systems that display the condition of emergency shutdown valves on oil platforms. The ValveWatch team had developed presentations for selling to technical buyers, but they needed sales collateral that matched the sophistication of their solution. Crawford/Mikus worked with members of the sales and marketing teams to develop a standard sales brochure that could be shared with both technical and non-technical buyers. With this assignment Crawford/Mikus demonstrated its ability to use words and pictures to deliver information that is both compelling and technically accurate—and a tagline that summarized the solution in six words: Get a Visual on Your Valves.
